That year, I welcomed two children into the world - one that shares my bloodline and the other which hold my long-cherished dream.
In 1991, at a time when Vietnam’s private economy was still in its infancy and full of uncertainty, Mr. Nguyễn Đình Đạt made a bold decision: he left a secure job in a state-owned enterprise to pursue his own vision. It was also the year he became a father-both to a child and to the early beginnings of what would one day become QDP.
Without capital or resources, he relied on technical know-how, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep passion for his craft. In the face of immense hardship, he held firm to a single belief: “If you stay true to your craft, it will never let you down.”
A journey with the first generation of workers
From the earliest days, he was accompanied by a group of young workers from all over Vietnam-Sơn La, Lai Châu, Bình Định. They learned the trade together, worked side by side, and built a shared life in the profession. Those once 17-year-old apprentices have since become seasoned engineers, capable managers, and even founders of their own ventures abroad.
What Mr. Đạt passed on was not only technical knowledge, but also a code of ethics-meticulousness, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Building a team, crafting a legacy
From a humble workshop to one of Vietnam’s leading façade contractors, Mr. Đạt’s journey has always been about people. QDP was never just a construction company-it was, and still is, a collective shaped by a culture of integrity, responsibility, and lifelong learning.
More than 30 years have passed, but QDP remains grounded in its founding spirit. Each project is not just a structure, but the embodiment of mind, hand, and heart-a reflection of the legacy left by the man who started it all.
