On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification, the Vietnam Association of Architects awarded the title “Outstanding Architectural Work – Southern Vietnam, 50 Years of Reunification” to the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper Headquarters in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. The recognition marks the building’s significant contribution to the development of modern architecture in the southern region.
QDP proudly contributed to the project by executing the semi-unitized façade system, sun-shading fins, and entrance doors—enhancing the building’s contemporary and enduring appearance. The result is a lasting cultural and historical symbol of urban Saigon.
Located at 432–438 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, the 18-story building rises to approximately 79 meters, featuring modern architecture with smooth corner curves that add elegance while optimizing natural light and reducing energy consumption.
This recognition not only affirms the building’s architectural value but also reflects a broader vision of sustainable urban growth and modern local identity—where contemporary design meets the city’s deep-rooted history and culture.
